TO VERIFY SUPERPOSITION PRINCIPLE

Instructions

  • !! Click on the labels to delete connections for the corrusponding label.
  • Choose values of R1, R2, R3 and Power-Supplies by adjusting the sliders.
  • Connect only voltage source, and check your connections.
    • Connect voltage source. 17->19, 18->20
    • Leave connections for current supply open to as current supplies have infinite internal resistance. 1->11, 2->12, 3->13, 4->14, 5->15, 6->16
  • Click 'CHECK' button to check connections.
  • Turn the connected Power-Supplies (voltage source).
  • Click the 'ADD' button to add observations to the table.
  • Repeate the above steps, but connecting the current supply.
    • Connect current souce. 7->9, 8->10
    • Short curcit the connections for voltage source as voltage supplies have zero internal resistance. 1->11, 2->12, 3->13, 4->14, 5->15, 6->16
  • Click on the 'ADD' button to add the values to observation table.
  • Make connections and connect both Power Supplies to curcit.
    • Connect ammeters (in series) to resistances, any ammeter can be connected to any resistor. , 1->11, 2->12, 3->13, 4->14, 5->15, 6->16
    • Connect positive and negative of both power supplies to the curcit. 7->9, 8->10, 17->19, 18->20
  • Click 'CALCULATE' to varify that the readings match.
  • Click in 'Verify' to varify the observations.
